About us

Wine marked the lives of Korčula and left a deep mark in the tradition of the island. Lumbarda is famous for the Grk, an autochtonus grape variety. Generations of Lumbarda winemakers have been improving grape growing and wine making and our family also added its personal touch, producing top quality wines Grk and Plavac Mali.

Respecting the tradition and following technology development, family Lovrić is producing premium wines by generations. Our winery is set in the groundfloow of the guest house and offers attention to every guest.

Wine tasting

We offer a tour of our small family winery, a visit to the traditional production process and tasting of our award-winning wines together with delicious smoked ham and cheese.

Grk

Grk Lovrić is a premium white wine from sandy wineyards of Lumbarda. Grk is a very unique variety, because male flowers have no function. So, for the pollination a flower of another variety is needed, which puts it in 1% of all wine sorts in the world.

Plavac

Plavac Lovrić is a premium dry red wine. Plavac Mali is Croatia’s most popular red wine and the one best known abroad. Plavac Mali is a variety chosen to help grow Grk, their grapes grow together and offer their flowers pollination.
